The dramatic score for Les Misérables was composed by Claude-Michel Schonberg and consists of 28 epic songs, including beautiful heart-wrenching ballads and rousing anthems. The original French lyrics were written by Alain Boublil and the later English lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer.
