With a breathtaking collection of marine life the London Aquarium is one of London's most interesting and educational attractions with over 350 species from fresh water streams, Atlantic ocean, rivers and ponds, Pacific ocean, Indian ocean, coral reefs, tropical freshwater environments as well as mangroves and rainforests. The Aquarium is heavily involved in conservation and conducts breeding programmes for corals and seahorses. With experts predicting that only 30% of coral reefs will survive until 2050 conservation has become increasingly important to prevent these beautiful living habitats from disappearing forever. Education plays a big part at the London Aquarium, free drop-in talks and feeds are offered regularly, allowing visitors the rare opportunity to see sharks feeding and enjoy diving displays in the Atlantic tank. Nowhere else in London can you watch piranhas feed or get up close and personal with rays, making the London Aquarium an educational and fun day out for everyone.

London Aquarium is one of Europe's largest aquariums with over 350 species from around the world in over 50 displays containing a total of 2.5 million litres of water. Some displays are so large they have to be cleaned by specially trained staff wearing scuba gear.

The aquariums massive collection of fish and aquatic life contains many familiar faces including Nemo (clownfish) Flounder (guppy) and Patrick Star (starfish). With specimens from fresh water streams, the Atlantic ocean, rivers and ponds, the Pacific ocean, coral reefs, the Indian ocean, tropical freshwater environments as well as mangroves and rainforests you are likely to encounter a species you have never seen before making the trip both exciting and informative.

The aquarium is heavily involved in conservation and raising awareness of aquatic life, with experts claiming that only 30% of corals will survive in 2050 the coral breeding programmes conducted at the aquarium are increasing in importance daily. These beautiful living habitats form the aquarium's coral reef display, giving visitors the opportunity to see colourful fish in a perfect simulation of their rapidly declining natural habitat

The London Aquarium is also a superb educational attraction, regular talks and feeding sessions give visitors the opportunity to watch sharks feed and learn about the mysterious underwater world
