Further cast announcements have been released for the most talked about production in the West End. Cameron Mackintosh's Oliver! which opens later this year recently crowned its leading lady when the public voted Jodie Prenger as their Nancy on BBC1 show I'd Do Anything and now further names for the London cast have been confirmed.

With a company rumoured to be 100-strong, Cameron Mackintosh has announced the latest additions to his London cast. Recognisable for his role in popular sci-fi drama Torchwood, Burn Gorman will take the part of vicious criminal and Nancy's love interest, Bill Sikes. Although this marks his musical debut, Gorman is no stranger to the stage or indeed Dickens having appeared in the BBC adaptation of Bleak House.

Joining Gorman, Jodie Prenger, Rowan Atkinson (as Fagin) and the three winning Olivers are Julian Bleach and Rosemary Leach. Bleach will play Mr Sowerberry with Rosemary Leach as Mrs Bedwin. Both are regular performers in the West End, having appeared in a number of productions. Most notably his involvement in Shockheaded Peter won Julian Leach a 2002 Olivier award.

With such a strong cast and creative team Oliver! is sure to become a West End staple. You can book tickets with an overnight stay in a London hotel with Show and Stay®, prices start from only £119 per person.
