Brand New Faces for West End Favourite

From June 23rd a brand new cast for the world's longest running musical will take to the stage at the Queens Theatre.

Cameron Mackintosh's Les Misérables is preparing for the year ahead with a brand new cast. Drew Sarich will remain as Jean Valjean but from Monday 23rd June the remaining London cast will change its West End line up.

The cast change includes Earl Carpenter as Javert, Allyson Brown as Fantine, David Thaxton as Enjolras, Jon Robyns as Marius, Jackie Marks as Madame Thénardier, Jimmy Johnston as Thénardier. Leanne Dobinson as Cosette and as Show and Stay^® previously reported Nancy Sullivan as Eponine.

The brand new London cast have a wealth of West End experience between them, with both Jackie Marks and David Thaxton no strangers to the popular musical having appeared in the London show previously. Earl Carpenter joins the Les Misérables cast from Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, whilst Leanne Dobinson is recognisable for her involvement with the BBC1 talent search programme How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? where she made it to the final 10.

Playing in over 40 countries and seen by an estimated 55 million people, Les Misérables is an epic tale of passion and power set against the background of a nation in the grip of a revolution. The London show is currently booking until April 2009 and you can book this remarkable musical as part of a London theatre break with Show and Stay^®.
