Zorro Make's His Mark in the West End

Summer in the West End looks set to be filled with some swashbuckling, sword swirling action as Zorro takes to the stage at the Garrick Theatre in July.

Zorro will open to the public from 16th July, directed by Christopher Renshaw and with a musical score by The Gipsy Kings. This musical is inspired by Isabel Allende's novel and tells the dramatic life of Diego De la Vega, son of aristocratic military man and a Shoshone warrior.

When the skilled young fencer is sent to Barcelona for his eduction, De la Vega soon become more interested in the corruption of the Napoleonic rule and it's injustice towards the poor. As he joins an underground resistance movement the legend of Zorro begins to unfold as the young hero falls in love and confronts his greatest rival.
